World-renowned Albanian soprano Inva Mula is set to take part in a concert in New York City on 24 May in a bid to raise funds for OriginAL, a programme to connect Albanians in the diaspora to their homeland and inspire them to be a part of a global Albanian community.
The organization provides a range of services, including educational and professional development opportunities, cultural events, and community outreach programs. Its mission is to promote the development of a strong and connected Albanian diaspora community that can contribute to the growth and prosperity of Albania and its people.
The concert, which is being supported by Germin and Global Albanians, and will see Mula supported by Genc Tukici.
Inva Mula is a Grammy-nominated Albanian soprano who has performed at some of the world’s most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, and the Royal Opera House in London. She is widely regarded as one of the most talented sopranos of her generation and has won critical acclaim for her performances in a wide range of operatic roles. In addition, she is known for providing the voice of Plavalaguna in The Fifth Element.
The Inva Mula concert is the latest in a series of events organized by the Albania Diaspora Youth organization. The event is expected to draw a large crowd of music lovers and supporters of the Albanian diaspora community. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy an evening of world-class music while also supporting a worthy cause.
